PROGRAM
11:00 am – Welcome in Giethoorn
Welcome with coffee or tea and Blokzijler Brok
11:45 am – 1-hour canal cruise with guide
After finishing your coffee/tea, you board the canal cruise boat to enjoy a relaxed tour. During this cruise, you sail through the village of Giethoorn as well as the nature reserve “de Wieden.” Along the way, you will be accompanied by an expert guide who will tell you about the village and the local flora and fauna.
12:45 pm – Bike tour with picnic
After boating, the bike will be ready for you. Together with the picnic wrapped in a farmer’s cloth and a beautiful bike route, you set off. After cycling a bit, you choose a nice spot and enjoy the extensive picnic. Everything is thought of; ham sandwich and cheese sandwich, currant bun, drinks, Russian salad, fruit, and a candy bar.
5:00 pm – 3-course dinner
Once back from the bike tour, you can enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner. How about a soup starter, followed by schnitzel or whiting fillet, and vanilla ice cream with fruit and whipped cream for dessert?
